The simplest winter coffee recipe – counting down to Christmas – day 8
Is there anything better than a warm cup of tea or coffee in a cold morning or cosy evening with a book? The time when you have a moment for yourself and don’t have to think about anything else. Only you and your cup. If you agree with me on this one, read along to find a recipe for the simplest winter coffee.
There is a little story to that coffee. Back in time when I was working at a restaurant, I had this one colleague. We used to call each other Essence. You could imagine, that it was funny to listen to us:
– Could you pass me this glass, Essence?
Everytime we would have a shift together, we would start with a big glass of coffee. So it was pretty natural for us to call it Essence coffee. Those 12 hour shifts were way better when we had our little morning coffee tradition.
As I mentioned, it is very easy to do. You will need:
- Coffee with milk (can be latte, cappuccino, coffee with warm milk with foam or basically any white coffee)
- small spoon of honey (don’t be shy with this one)
- pinch of cinnamon
Mix it all together, and enjoy the warming feeling it gives you in return!
