Butter cookies – counting down to Christmas – day 20
Time passes by fast in December, but hopefully you are able to find some time to treat yourself with some good homemade cookies.
If you are looking for quick-to-make but at the same time very rewarding cookies, here is the recipe which you can count on. They are perfect, especially, if you want to get creative and cut out various shapes. And you can easily make it during one evening after work. There was this one time when I was making the cookies and forget to add sugar. Quick note, I would not recommend that.
- 2,5 glass of flour
- 0,5 small spoon of baking powder
- 1 big egg
- 0,5 glass of sugar
- 200g butter (cut in small pieces)
- pinch of salt
- seeds from 1 vanilla stick (or half of a small spoon of vanilla sugar)
Mix everything together with your hands. When the cake is ready, put it in a plastic bag and leave in the fridge for 30 minutes. After that, preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius. Take the cake out, roll out the cake and cut the shapes. When ready, put them on the baking paper and bake for 18 minutes.
As you see, quick and easy.
Let me know if you are going to use the recipe.
